SYNOPSIS
This is a poem thinking about the changing seasons from Summer to Fall.
Of all the seasons that I see,
Summertime is best for me.
The brilliant sunshine and sky so bright,
Flowers are a beautiful sight.
Trees of green to give us shade,
Fresh mowed grass the fragrance made.
Days are long and nights grow cool,
Best of all there is no school.
Then comes Fall with Autumn's breeze
Beautiful colours of all the leaves.
Reds, oranges, yellows too,
It makes the world seem all brand new.
Pumpkins and scarecrows everywhere,
A brand new feeling is in the air.
Lighter stepping of your feet,
A crispness and magic soon you meet.
Which is better--that one or this,
One or the other brings such bliss.
I look forward to both but say,
I love the smell of fresh cut hay.
The dark blue scene against such colour,
Would make me pick one season over the other.
But in the Fall I cannot play,
The way I did on a hot summer day.
So, you decide which is the season
You like best and for what reason.
We should be happy to have them all,
Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
