SUMMARY
A Rabbit unwittingly upsets the fragile balance of the universe, with mighty hops that rocket him through stars, above the moon.

But his stellar neighbours find his nightly antics far from funny and get hopping mad before they realize how this bunny really needs their help.

Written as a nursery rhyme, this tightly woven tale of a highly-hoppity and quite-unstoppity bunny is sure to stir the universal wonder of a child's mind.

There once was a Rabbit
that had a bad habit
of hopping straight up
to the Moon
:
which seemed so bizarre
it distracted the Stars
on weekends they watched
their cartoons.

Though, Sunday was sunny
when Sun met the bunny
she demanded such antics
must stop
;
then he cried and he begged
to explain how his legs
have a mind of their own
when they hop

So the Sun took a snooze
to dream about shoes
that would keep Rabbit's feet
on the ground
:
when she rose from her chair
she then sewed him a pair
and told him to go
check them out.

He thought they looked nice
as he tried them on twice
knowing he'd need them
quite soon
:
that night as he hopped
they did not make him stop
but they did shoot him way past
the Moon.

His shoes failed to ground him
and just out-of-towned him
higher than airplanes
could cruise
:
poor Rabbit, they say
is still floating today
in deep outerspace
with those shoes.
