I grew a little flower
It was like a little tower
It had a little stem
The middle was like a little gem
I watched it day and night
Through dark and light
It had petals, red and blue
It had some emerald coloured leaves too
When the flies came to suck on it, I told them to shoo
One day, with the wind, it flew away
I was sad that day
I grew another
And I asked my mother
To take care of it
Since that day
None of my flowers have flown away!
