SYNOPSIS
A nonsense poem.
One Tuesday, I went shopping, but then, came home to bed;
I felt so strangely dizzy, had an aching in my head.
I stood before my mirror and then, stuck out my tongue;
That was when I realized there was something wrong.
For there was no reflection looking back at me;
I blinked and rubbed my eyes, trying hard to see.
I put my hand up to my face and poked me in the eye;
This was all upsetting and I began to cry.
The doctor came to visit me; he passed me on the stair;
Then laughingly, he said to me. "Oh, I didn't see you there!"
He made me get in bed again and asked me where it hurt;
I told him that it started when I'd bought a shirt.
The doctor knew the answer to my sorry plight;
He thought the bright new shirt I'd bought had made me lose my sight.
He said that I would see again and as he left my home,
He turned and said. "We'll call it, 'The Invisible Man Syndrome'!"
