I can't wait for that Thanksgiving Day,
and the way that my diet will stray.
I'll eat all on my plate;
for dessert I can't wait.
I'm ashamed to think what I will weigh!
With Rover alongside the table,
I'll sneak him some food when I'm able.
Mom will catch me for sure,
but I know we'll endure,
when we are both banned to the stable!
My cat, Fluffy, will sit there as well,
just awaiting a snack, I can tell.
She'll be licking her lips,
grabbing whatever slips.
She'll find it with her great sense of smell!
