If I were a real cowboy, I'd live on a real working ranch.
I would ride my horse every day and help the other cowboys with all the ranch work that needed to be done.
I would name my horse Scout, and he would be the smartest horse there ever was.
I would have a real cowboy hat.
And a pair of real cowboy boots with spurs.
Sometimes I would have to ride a mean bull at a real rodeo, I would have to hang on real tight.
I would even have to be able to throw a real rope, just like a real cowboy does.
And I might have to do rope tricks to make the kids laugh.
I might even have to help the Sheriff catch outlaws sometimes.
I would have to wear a badge with Sheriff written on it.
And I might even have to wear real guns strapped around my waist.
I could be the best cowboy there ever was.
But, until then, I'll just have fun being me.
