SYNOPSIS
Santa has a mishap on Christmas Eve
Up on the roof, Santa alit;
it was his fifty-fourth house hit.
The reindeer, they were in a snit.
Began to spit. Began to spit.
Old Santa's mood was out of sorts;
from reindeer, he'd take no retorts.
Of weather, he'd heard bad reports.
Closed were airports. Closed were airports.
In the chimney, Santa got stuck;
on Christmas Eve, it was bad luck.
With such delays, he had no truck,
but he had pluck, but he had pluck.
The reindeer yanked and pulled and hauled;
no matter what they did, they stalled.
Then Santa, when they had all sprawled,
to Rudolph called, to Rudolph called.
That famous reindeer came at last,
but Santa was stuck very fast.
That deer thought maybe they should blast.
Santa aghast. Santa aghast.
When, finally, they'd pried him free,
the reindeer yelled and stamped with glee,
resumed again deliv'ry spree,
for all to see, for all to see.
