SYNOPSIS
A child in an orphanage waits for Santa on Christmas Eve.
The orphanage was all asleep,
but one young boy got up to peep.
As he looked out the window pane,
he spied a sight to stun his brain.
'Twas Santa and his eight reindeer,
flying across the moon so clear.
The boy knew then that all was well;
he'd have a magic tale to tell.
When Santa's sleigh lit on the roof,
he raced upstairs for real proof.
Then Santa looked at him, dismayed
"It is in bed you should have stayed.
"You shouldn't see me; it's not right.
I am invisible this night."
The boy looked up at Santa's face.
"I thought maybe you'd skip this place...
...since we are orphans, one and all,
and our importance is so small."
Then Santa exclaimed to the boy,
"Each child on Earth deserves a toy!"
