SYNOPSIS
How Santa handles the reindeer at the North Pole
When Christmas time is drawing near,
Santa must train up all the reindeer
and inventory all their gear.
Much work, I fear, much work I fear.
They're lazy from their time at rest
and are prepared to do their best,
but they come at Santa's behest.
They'll meet the test! They'll meet the test!
They're out of shape at summer's end,
not up to flying, can't pretend.
At exercising hours spend,
but knees won't bend, but knees won't bend!
They rally for old Santa's sake;
on Christmas Eve to skies they take;
deliveries without a break.
Must stay awake! Must stay awake!
They finish up the rounds somehow.
Thank goodness they don't need a plow.
Will do better next year, they vow.
It's over now! It's over now!
