Mommy kissing Santa Claus,
I hoped I'd never see,
Why would she kiss a stranger
When she's got my Dad and me?
But there they stood in warm embrace,
I saw them from the stair,
How Mother disappointed me,
T'was like she didn't care!
Just think if Father saw this sight,
I wonder what he'd do,
He wouldn't fight with Santa Clause,
Or hit him with his shoe!
I saw the presents all lined up,
He placed beneath the tree,
But wouldn't leave before he kissed,
My Mom romantically.
And if you ask I think it stinks,
That Mother won't say 'NO'!
And act just like a giggling teen,
Beneath the mistletoe.
Well, I don't know where Dad has gone,
He best be on his way,
Before this frisky Santa Claus,
Takes flight inside his sleigh!
Now back to bed it was for me,
Although I wasn't tired,
But I could sleep much better now,
Just praying he'd retire.
So what if Mother kissed St. Nick,
My Dad now took his place,
And hugged they did with much desire,
And kissed as they embraced.
But still I wonder to this day,
Just how my Dad appeared,
And how he grew in just an hour,
That scruffy, old white beard?!
