"Shame on me, stuck in a tree!"
I climbed up in the Xmas tree,
One day when I was bored,
Then heard the hanging ornaments,
Fall, breaking on the floor.
I fear this limb I'm sitting on,
Is just about to crack,
And I can't make it down the tree,
My paws are full of sap.
I'm stuck up here the whole day long,
This 'goo' just won't come off,
If any of my kitty friends,
Could see me, how they'd scoff!
Oh, how I'll get a scolding,
When my owners do arrive,
I think I'll just remain up here,
And hope I can survive!!
