SYNOPSIS
Three kittens learn an important lesson for their first Christmas in a new home.
Three kittens born on Halloween
found a forever home,
just brimming with enormous love
and toys and treats and comb.
As they sat perched and looking out,
they spied a chickadee.
"What kind of creature sits out there,
perched in that snowy tree?"
Their housemate found them sitting there
and gave each one a pet.
"I think we need to get some seed,
so 'Chick' will be all set.
"Now, you must never chase the birds,
or other furry folk.
They have the same rights as you three."
She gave each one a stroke.
So, there, on their first Christmas morn,
the kittens learned of love.
They heard that message, loud and clear,
that came from up above.
