SYNOPSIS
A donkey finds his true purpose at Christmas
One Christmas Eve, a donkey stood
alone and so forlorn.
He had no friends and no one cared;
wished he had not been born.
Last Christmas he had worked in grace,
to carry Jesus' Mom,
but this year no one wanted him;
his spirit needed balm.
Then in the sky a light appeared,
he saw an angel bright.
She looked at him with loving eyes,
took pity on his plight.
"You are a beast among all beasts",
she said in a soft voice.
"Just recall how you served the Lord
and then you will rejoice."
